They'll get kicked out as soon as they hit Death's Door. When heroes goes into the pot, just let them stew* while you focus on killing the Hag. Bring high-damage heroes who can reach the back rows (Hellions, Bounty Hunters, Houndmasters, and such). b) is how I beat the bosses my first time around (except maybe the Necromancer, because he's a pushover).Īs for OP's questions: ignore the pot.
But nothing stops you from a) trying to beat the boss as is, or b) retreating and coming back with a better team. Nothing in the dungeon really gives you clues about any of the boss fights. I like the concept but the design flaws in these fights are ridiculous.
